Privacy Policy

What this app does

Driver Day Tracker helps cross-border drivers keep a personal log of days spent outside Canada, for tracking progress toward Canada's citizenship physical-presence requirement. Your travel log is private to your account.

Information we collect

Account information: your email address, used only to create your account and let you sign in.

Trip information you enter: trip dates, border crossing records, and any notes you add. You control this data — you can edit or delete trips at any time.

Location (optional): when you tap the “USA entry” or “Canada return” buttons, the app may ask for your location to record where the crossing was logged. Location is captured only at the moment you tap the button — the app does not track your location in the background.

How we use your information

Your information is used only to operate the app: to maintain your account, store your trip log, and show your day-count summary and reports. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or other third parties.

Where your data is stored

Account and trip data is stored securely with our cloud database provider (Supabase). Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Your rights

You can review, edit, or delete your trips inside the app at any time. If you want your account and all associated data deleted, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.

Children

This app is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
